Ukraine’s Air Force notes possibility that Iran may supply Russia with Mohajer-6 drones
Russia may have received not only Shahed drones, but also Mohajer-6 drones, from Iran as the countries continue their military cooperation
Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said this during the telethon.
He mentioned that it's widely known that Russia regularly receives attack UAVs from Iran. This is evident from the consistent flights of military transport planes from Tehran to Moscow. It's also possible that they are delivered by sea, specifically the Caspian Sea. The cargo is received in the ports of Makhachkala and Astrakhan.
According to Ihnat, there are questions about the amount of support Iran is willing to provide to Russia in the future. Additionally, it's uncertain whether the aggressor state will be capable of independently producing drones or relying on other countries' territories.
"However, the cooperation between Iran and Moscow persists. They might deliver not just Shaheds, but also other types of UAVs to the occupied territory, such as Mohajer-6 and others," Ihnat remarked.
