Ukraine will not abandon strategy of territorial liberation in 2024 - General Malomuzh

He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel.

"The strategy of warfare is determined by the Ukrainian General Staff. We are the ones who are aware of the situation at the front and see what forces and means are needed to fulfill the tasks. To fulfill these tasks, the Ukrainian defense industry has been working at full capacity. We have started producing ammunition, missile systems and drones. That is, we can now rely on the strategy we see for the future. However, I want to emphasize that the Armed Forces cannot abandon the strategy of liberating Ukrainian territories. Of course, the United States can advise us on how to act and provide options, but we will decide the strategy on the battlefield ourselves," explained Malomuzh.

The general emphasized the importance of planning actions in accordance with the situation on the battlefield.

"Indeed, our military-political command has long been focused on the strategy of holding territories in the East and counterattacking in the South of the country. Our military is currently working on this strategy. Because the military strategy is planned in the format of a real war. Our allies can help us in planning. However, their calculations are built in the format of games and computer modeling, which often does not correspond to the real conditions of combat operations," he added.
