Germany announces new aid package worth €1.1 billion
At a briefing with President Zelenskyy at the Munich conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany would provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth €1.1 billion.
"In total, Germany has allocated 28 billion euros for military assistance to Ukraine. Today, we are preparing a new package of aid to Ukraine, which is 1.1 billion euros," Scholz said.
In particular, the aid package will include 36 armored and wheeled howitzers from industrial stocks, 120,000 shells, 2 Skynex air defense systems, and missiles for IRIS-T.
"Putin has not achieved any of his goals, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recaptured more than half of the territories occupied by the Russians. The strength of the people's resistance in Ukraine is astonishing," Scholz emphasized.
The Cabinet of Ministers approves sale of Medvedchuk's seized yacht
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the sale of the seized yacht Royal Romance, which belonged to former MP Viktor Medvedchuk. This was reported by the head of the National Agency for Asset Recovery and Management (ARMA), Olena Duma.
"On Friday, February 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the sale of the 92-meter yacht Royal Romance to ARMA," she said.
Duma emphasized that the tender for the sale of assets in the form of movable property located abroad and transferred to ARMA for sale is carried out in accordance with the government's decision.
"Such approval has been formalized today by the relevant protocol decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine," added the Head of ARMA.

Ukrainian Vladyslav Klymenko became the youngest participant in the history of the World Cup in skeleton. This was reported by Suspilne Sport.
On February 16, the seventh stage of the World Cup in skeleton started in Altenberg, Germany. Ukraine was represented by Yaroslav Lavreniuk and Vladyslav Klymenko. Team leader Vladyslav Heraskevych missed the stage due to injury.
For 16-year-old Lavreniuk, this is the third stage of the World Cup, while 15-year-old Klymenko made his debut at this level of competition. Vladyslav became the youngest ever participant in the World Cup in skeleton. Only yesterday, February 15, he turned 15.
