Germany announces new aid package worth €1.1 billion

At a briefing with President Zelenskyy at the Munich conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany would provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth €1.1 billion.

"In total, Germany has allocated 28 billion euros for military assistance to Ukraine. Today, we are preparing a new package of aid to Ukraine, which is 1.1 billion euros," Scholz said.

In particular, the aid package will include 36 armored and wheeled howitzers from industrial stocks, 120,000 shells, 2 Skynex air defense systems, and missiles for IRIS-T.

"Putin has not achieved any of his goals, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recaptured more than half of the territories occupied by the Russians. The strength of the people's resistance in Ukraine is astonishing," Scholz emphasized.

The Cabinet of Ministers approves sale of Medvedchuk's seized yacht

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the sale of the seized yacht Royal Romance, which belonged to former MP Viktor Medvedchuk. This was reported by the head of the National Agency for Asset Recovery and Management (ARMA), Olena Duma.

"On Friday, February 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the sale of the 92-meter yacht Royal Romance to ARMA," she said.

Duma emphasized that the tender for the sale of assets in the form of movable property located abroad and transferred to ARMA for sale is carried out in accordance with the government's decision.

"Such approval has been formalized today by the relevant protocol decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine," added the Head of ARMA.

Ukrainian armor withstood a direct hit from a Lancet

One of the self-propelled artillery units Bohdana with the cabin version from Ukrainian Armored Vehicles successfully withstood the Russian kamikaze drone Lancet impact.

This is reported by Defense Express.

“This example truly underscores the high level of reliability of the domestic self-propelled artillery unit Bohdana. However, perhaps this will also serve as the 'starting point' for a new phase of the confrontation between kamikaze drones and equipment on the battlefield.”
