On Saturday, August 3, in Paris, the Ukrainian women's saber fencing team defeated Italy 45-37 to reach the semifinals of the Olympic Games.
The Ukrainian team was represented by Olha Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, Olena Kravatska, and Yuliia Bakastova.
In the semifinals, which will take place today at 4:20 p.m., Ukraine will fight Japan. Japan defeated the second-seeded Hungarian team with a score of 45:37.
- On Friday, August 2, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak fought to reach the semifinals of the 2024 Olympics.
