The Ministry of Digital Transformation has shown how the Ukrainian-made PARASOL trench electronic warfare device from the Brave1 cluster works. It has two modifications

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported this.

As for the modifications of the PARASOL electronic warfare system, the developer has two: one protects positions from Russian drones, the other protects equipment.

According to the minister, one of the key advantages of PARASOL is that it is invisible to enemy electronic warfare systems.

The first development - PARASOL 01 - protects military positions by suppressing Russian FPV drones at a distance of 200 meters.

The second development, PARASOL 02, protects vehicles. The electronic warfare system can be installed on vehicles and connected to the onboard network, and drones are also jammed at a distance of 200 meters.

These EW systems are also very easy to operate, and you can learn how to use them in 10-15 minutes.

The developer is MixSteel, and Ukraine has already signed contracts with it to purchase two PARASOL modifications. According to Fedorov, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively using them.

"Before the full-scale war, Ukraine did not have a single short-range electronic warfare system. Thanks to the systematic work of Brave1, this area has begun to develop, and today there are dozens of technological solutions that the state can buy for the front," the minister added.

Today, more than 100 developments are registered on the Brave1 platform, and 9 of them have already been codified according to NATO standards.

The video shows how developers "land" drones during PARASOL tests.

  • A year ago, the Brave1 cluster started its work, and since then, more than 900 innovators have joined it, creating more than 1,600 defense-tech developments.
