Ukraine should summon ambassadors of countries whose leaders went to see Putin on May 9 – diplomat Chaly
Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs should respond to the visit of leaders of a number of countries to Moscow for the Victory Day parade
Ukrainian diplomat Valeriy Chaly made the statement on Espreso TV.
"There is a whole set of tools that can be used. Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have a more independent position. Perhaps we need to make our position clear, not publicly. I think the time will come to assess our bilateral relations. All this should be clearly written down. So it doesn’t lead to having such a position now, and then their companies or interests taking part in the Ukrainian economy," he said.
According to the diplomat, Ukraine has all its moves written down.
"It would be possible to make a certain statement and talk to the ambassadors of these countries and summon them to the Foreign Ministry. To work in these countries is to convey the truth about what is happening. It seems to me that more and more people in these countries will not tolerate this position of their leaders," Chaly summarized.
