Ukraine says Russia may be preparing for massive new strikes
The spokesman for Ukraine’s Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, believes that the Russian military may be preparing for massive new missile attacks on Ukraine, and adds that Ukrainian defenders are ready to counter them
He made the statement on the United News telethon.
"We are not just preparing, we are ready. The Air Force has been operating around the clock as the standard practice throughout this conflict. There are no options here, we have to expect any threat, any air target at any time," Ihnat said.
According to the spokesman, Russia may be preparing for new massive attacks. After numerous drone and missile attacks, the aggressor state took a break. According to Ihnat, it is likely to accumulate resources.
"They pause sometimes because they don't have endless ammunition, endless missiles. That's why they are well aware of this and carry out such isolated strikes. Yesterday it was Iskanders, today it was Kh-59," the Air Force spokesman added.
