Ukraine returns 106 servicemen fighting in Bakhmut direction from captivity
Ukraine has managed to bring home 106 of its servicemen who have been fighting in the Bakhmut direction
Andriy Yermak, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, reported the information on Telegram.
According to him, 8 officers, and 98 privates and sergeants returned home.
"They fought for Bakhmut and accomplished a feat that prevented the enemy from advancing further into our East. Each of them is a hero of our country. Among those we are bringing home from captivity, many were considered missing. The families of these people have gone through a difficult stage," Yermak wrote.
Yermak emphasized that the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War and the entire team are fulfilling the President's task to return everyone home as soon as possible. President Zelenskyy outlined this task as one of the key ones.
