Ukraine restores 31% of heat supply facilities damaged by Russian army

In its assault on Ukraine, the Russian army has damaged or destroyed 352 heating supply critical infrastructure facilities in the country. Ukraine has now restored 31 percent of them

The Ukrainian Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories shared the statement.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, as of July 27, Russia has destroyed or damaged 352 objects of critical infrastructure in the field of heat supply in Ukraine. We are talking about 343 boiler houses (331 damaged and 12 destroyed), 8 thermal power plants (4 destroyed and 4 damaged) and one thermal power plant.

These numbers were announced by the Deputy Minister of Community Development and Territories of Ukraine Nataliya Khotsyanivska at a meeting of the Headquarters for the preparation of housing and communal facilities and the fuel and energy complex for the autumn-winter period of 2022/2023.

To date, 31% of the total number of damaged objects have been restored.
