Ukraine receive F-16 fighter jets in 2-3 months - former Polish army commander
Ukraine will receive a modern multi-role F-16 aircraft in 2-3 months. Ukrainian pilots are almost ready to use them in combat
General Waldemar Skrzypczak, the former commander of the Polish Army, reported to Ukrinform.
"In my opinion, the training of Ukrainian pilots has been going on for a long time, as the training of a pilot on the F-16 should take place over two years. I think Ukraine is at the stage where Ukrainian pilots are almost ready to use F-16s in combat," he said.
According to him, Ukraine's international partners must now decide which of them is ready to transfer the aircraft.
"The United States has a lot of fighters of this type in the desert in Arizona and can hand them," the general said.
"In my opinion, in two or three months Ukraine will have F-16s, as Ukrainian pilots are undoubtedly ready to operate them," he added.
