Ukraine nationalizes agricultural holding and factories of Russian oligarchs worth more than UAH 2 billion
Based on the Ukrainian Security Service materials, the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the claim of the Ministry of Justice to transfer enterprises owned by Russian oligarchs Mikhail Shelkov and Sergey Chemezov to the state ownership of Ukraine
This was reported by the Ukrainian Security Service on the Telegram.
It is noted that the court's decision concerns the Demurinsky Mining and Processing Plant, the wholesale pipe manufacturer VSMPO Titan LLC, the metal trading company Tai-Minerals LLC, and the Invest Agro agricultural holding.
The value of the property transferred to Ukraine is at least UAH 2 billion.
"It has been established that Chemezov and Shelkov, who are members of the inner circle of the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation, managed Ukrainian enterprises through the Russian titanium monopoly, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation," the statement said.
It is also noted that this company is part of the structure of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation and participates in the production of weapons for the occupation forces.
After the start of the full-scale invasion, Shelkov and Chemezov wanted to hide their ties to Ukrainian assets. To do this, they tried to transfer the formal management of the companies to controlled commercial entities in Dnipropetrovs'k and Sumy regions.
"Ukrainian Security Service officers exposed the fraud, blocked it timely and initiated the transfer of 100% of the Russian property to the revenue of Ukraine," the statement said.
