"Ukraine lives, thanks to their courage": Zelensky awards 210 Armed Forces' servicemen, 255 National Guards

On June 21, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree awarding 210 servicemen with Ukraine's Armed Forces, 255 soldiers with the National Guard, 41 employees of the State Border Guard Service and 45 National Police employees.

He said this in the regular evening video address published in his Telegram channel.

"He signed two major decrees on rewarding our defenders. At the request of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, 210 combatants were awarded, three of them posthumously. At the request of the Interior Minister, 255 soldiers of the National Guard were given state awards," said the president.

Also 41 border guards, 12 of them posthumously, and 45 policemen were awarded.

"I want you to realize that when I talk about signing such decrees, it's not just routine and not something mechanical. Only thanks to the mass courage and wisdom of our people on the battlefield, Ukraine lives and can really count on victory," Zelensky concluded.
