Humeniuk said this on the air of Radio Liberty.
According to her, since Russia's withdrawal from the grain deal, Russian occupiers have carried out seven attacks on the port infrastructure of southern Ukraine using missiles and drones.
"These were quite powerful attacks that tried to damage both port production facilities and grain storage facilities, as well as the subject of transportation, i.e. grain. The attacks were carried out using various types of weapons from different directions and were focused on achieving maximum damage," the spokeswoman said.
Humeniuk stressed that all Ukrainian ports are now ready to continue working and ensure grain shipments. Work is currently underway to re-profile the air defence facilities.
"As for the future defence, we continue to work on re-profiling air defence. We continue to work at all levels, including with international partners, to strengthen us technically with air defence systems that will be able to counteract the types of weapons that the Russian enemy uses in this area," she added.
Over 9 days of attacks in Odesa region, Russian forces partially destroyed 26 port infrastructure facilities and 5 civilian vessels. In particular, on the night of July 24, the Russian army attacked the port of Reni in Odesa region using ‘kamikaze’ drones.
