Ukraine is afraid of new attack on Kyiv: Center for Strategic Communications refutes Russian fake
The Russians spread a fake news story that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are trying hard to improve their combat capabilities because Russia will try to seize Kyiv again. Ukraine has denied this information
This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security SPRAVDI.
According to Russian propagandists, the Ukrainian military is trying to increase its combat capability because Russia will try to capture the capital of Ukraine again. This was allegedly stated by the commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Nayev, according to Russian media.
In fact, on August 14, Nayev noted that as of today, "there are no signs that the enemy is preparing for a ground offensive" against Kyiv.
"The defense forces have never completely ruled out the possibility of a repeat offensive, because the actions of the Russian army depend solely on the decisions of the top military leadership of the Russian Federation, but now this probability is not supported by the enemy's forces and means," the statement reads.
