Hungary joins NATO coalition for demining Ukraine

Hungary's Minister of Defense Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky announced this.
According to him, demining is one of the most urgent tasks in Ukraine that affects the daily life of the population.
"The Hungarian Defense Forces are contributing to the work of the Lithuanian-led coalition by conducting demining exercises," Szalay-Bobrovniczky wrote.
- At an extraordinary summit on February 1, EU leaders overcame Hungary's longstanding resistance and agreed to provide a multi-year macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €50 billion.
- Before the EU summit in Brussels, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the European Union was tired not of Ukraine but of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
