Ukraine has restored 850 medical facilities damaged by Russian aggression

The Ministry of Health reports.
"For more than a year and a half of full-scale war, Russians have been deliberately and systematically destroying Ukrainian hospitals, clinics, ambulatories, maternity and other medical facilities, as well as terrorizing the civilian population," the statement says.
Over 22 months of war in different regions of Ukraine, 847 medical facilities have been fully and partially restored: 441 facilities have been fully restored and another 406 have been partially restored. Most of them are in Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions.
It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the occupying Russian army has damaged 1474 medical facilities and destroyed another 195 facilities completely. The medical infrastructure of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions suffered the greatest losses.
- On October 12, the occupation army attacked a children's hospital and university in Kherson, causing damage to the buildings.
- On October 5, Russian terrorists attacked a medical facility in Beryslav, Kherson region. As a result, two medical workers were injured.
