Ukraine downs 80 of 145 Russian drones in overnight attack

The Ukrainian Air Force reported the information.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. on May 13, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles launched from Crimea, along with 14 Shahed-type attack drones and various decoy drones from Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Ukrainian aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups repelled the attack.

As of 9:00 a.m., Ukrainian forces had confirmed the downing of 80 Russian attack drones across the eastern, northern, western, and central regions of the country. In addition, 42 Russian decoy drones were destroyed in the area.

• The Russian attack targeted the Sumy, Kharkiv, Odesa, Donetsk, and Kirovohrad regions. Additionally, two people were wounded in the Rivne region.
