Ukraine commemorates children killed by Russian aggression

A ceremony to honor the memory of children killed by Russia took place in Kyiv on March 26 during the EdCamp conference.

This is reported by Ukrinform.

Since February 24, 2022, Russia has killed at least 465 Ukrainian children. The participants honored the memory of the dead with a moment of silence.

The main speaker of EdCamp-2023, the finalist of the Global Teacher Prize-2019 international competition, Lado Apkhazawa, brought more than 450 candles made by Georgian teachers with prayers for the souls of the dead children and for Ukraine’s victory.

Candles were lit in memory of the Russian aggression victims.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the teacher from Georgia, Lado Apkhazava, has started a charity campaign in support of Ukrainian refugees, schoolchildren and teachers. On his initiative, teachers from 39 countries raised $700,000, which were later transferred to a Polish organization that helps evacuated Ukrainian children.
