Ukraine can expect robust support package at NATO summit - Blinken
NATO member states will provide Ukraine with a "robust package" of support during the summit in Vilnius, demonstrating to Putin that international unity remains strong and he will not be able to achieve his goals
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made the announcement during a press conference in Washington on Monday, Ukrinform reports.
"I think what you can expect to see at the NATO Summit is a robust package of both political and practical support for Ukraine going forward," the US Secretary of State said.
He also believes that this would be a strong message to Putin, who apparently wants to wait until the international community stops its assistance. However, as the head of the State Department emphasized, the countries supporting Ukrainians are determined.
Blinken stressed that the civilized world, like Ukraine, wants to achieve a peace that is fair and lasting.
"If and when Russia is prepared to engage on that basis, we’ll all be prepared to do that. But what we’ve seen to date is that it’s not prepared to do that," the US Secretary of State said.
The NATO summit in Vilnius will take place on July 11 to 12.

Secretary Blinken also said that the US would continue to provide extensive support for Ukraine in order to force Putin to negotiate.
