Ukraine boosts weapon production amidst war – Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has shared insights on the country's defense efforts in the face of the ongoing conflict with Russia. Zelenskyy highlighted strides made in the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex, including the production of NATO-style equipment and plans to ramp up weapon manufacturing

In an interview with Ukrainian presenter Natalia Moseichuk, President Zelenskyy discussed initiatives at Ukroboronprom (Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC). Notably, a missile program was launched, with recent attention on a newly revealed missile aimed at the Russian S-400 air defense system in Crimea.
Zelenskyy also pointed to increased output of vital Ukrainian weaponry, such as anti-tank systems Stuhna and Korsar. The destructive power of the Neptune anti-ship missiles, which targeted the Russian cruiser Moskva, was acknowledged.
Additionally, Zelenskyy underscored efforts to produce NATO-standard 155-mm artillery systems, emphasizing the importance of establishing a comprehensive production system.
The president also disclosed ongoing discussions concerning the manufacturing of Swedish CV90 infantry fighting vehicles. Despite the need for discretion due to security concerns, Zelenskyy stressed the significance of this collaboration.
Looking to the future, Zelenskyy announced a military tech forum scheduled for October. The event aims to attract leading industry representatives, possibly resulting in significant contracts being signed.
