UK, US, Germany, France back IAEA visit to Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant
Outgoing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron have all stressed that the IAEA should be allowed access to the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

"Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson and the leaders of the United States, France and Germany on Sunday, during their conversation, emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of nuclear facilities in Ukraine," the message reads.
The leaders of the states declared their support for Ukraine and emphasized the importance of the IAEA's mission to the ZNPP.
"In a joint call, the Prime Minister (Johnson - Ed.), President Biden, President Macron and Chancellor Scholz emphasized their unwavering commitment to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. They stressed the importance of ensuring the security of nuclear facilities and welcomed the recent discussions on the authorization mission of the IAEA to the object in the Zaporizhzhia region," the spokesman added.
