UK says it's impractical to give Ukraine fighter jets now
The UK doesn't consider it appropriate to send its fighter jets to Ukraine, given the period of training that pilots must undergo before using these aircraft

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's spokesman said this on Tuesday, Reuters reports.
“The UK’s ... fighter jets are extremely sophisticated and take months to learn how to fly. Given that, we believe it is not practical to send those jets into Ukraine,” he said.
“We will continue to discuss with our allies about what we think is the right approach,” the spokesman added.
