UK imposes sanctions against Russian Gazprom
The UK imposed sanctions against the Russian company, now Gazprom cannot issue shares in the country. Also, all ties with Gazprom were severed by Shell.

The UK government has imposed sanctions against Russia's largest gas company, Gazprom.
"Russian gas giant Gazprom has been sanctioned by the UK government and will no longer be able to forfeit debt or shares in the UK", the spokesman for the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy said.
Earlier, Shell cut off all ties with Gazprom.
"The UK is in no way dependent on Russian gas supplies. Our diverse gas supply sources and diverse electricity generation mix ensure that households, businesses, and heavy industry get the energy they need", the representative of the ministry noted.
