UAE transfers 1,300 generators for Ukrainian schools, medical facilities
The UAE has handed over the second batch of generators to Ukraine as part of the humanitarian support program worth USD 100 million
The press service of Ukraine's State Property Fund reported this.
“The UAE provided Ukraine with the second batch of 1,300 generators as part of the general program of humanitarian support worth USD 100 million. The State Property Fund team has already received them and is sending them to the regions affected by Russian aggression,” the message says.
It is known that the generators will be handed over to critical and social infrastructure facilities, including schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, as well as heating stations in the Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk, Donetsk regions and Kyiv itself.
The UAE handed over the first batch of 1,200 generators to Ukraine back in December.
“They were sent to healthcare, education, and critical infrastructure facilities in the regions most affected by Russian aggression - the Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv regions,” the press service added.
