Two missiles are not enough to sink Moskva cruiser, but now it's at bottom, - Ukraine’s Navy commander on destruction of Russian flagship
The flagship of the Russian fleet, the Moskva, was destroyed by two Ukrainian Neptune missiles, although this is not enough to sink it
The commander of the Ukrainian Navy, told about this in a documentary by Dmytro Komarov.
Oleksiy Neizhpapa said that one of the reasons why the Moskva cruiser went down was the overconfidence of the Russians: they were convinced that the Navy and Air Force no longer existed. And this was a great image loss for Russia.
"Our forces and means detected a group of ships, including the Moskva cruiser. And then the Neptune missile system launched two missiles. For such a warship, two missiles are not enough to sink it. But it is now at the bottom," the Navy commander said.
Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov noted that the sinking of the cruiser also made it possible to de-occupy Zmiinyi Island (Snake Island) and launch the Black Sea grain deal.
