Turkish unmanned fighter jet equipped with Ukrainian engine makes its first flight
Baykar's Kızılelma unmanned fighter jet has made its first flight. The Ukrainian ambassador in Turkey says that it is equipped with a Ukrainian engine.
This is reported on the official page of the first Turkish technology company that developed local UAVs, Baykar.
“The first journey of Bayraktar Kızılelma that will leave a mark on our glorious history,” the message says.
Ukraine's Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar said that the Turkish Kızılelma unmanned fighter jet is equipped with a Ukrainian engine.

The technical director of the company, Selçuk Bayraktar, writes that the 20-year dream of a national drone has come true.
“Bayraktar - Kızılelma, Turkey's first unmanned military aircraft, has made its first flight. Good luck to our country, our nation, all friends and brothers in geography,” Bayraktar wrote.
