Turkey can destroy Russia's Black Sea Fleet in hours
Turkey is able to destroy the Russian Black Sea Fleet in a few hours, without even entering the Black Sea
Pavlo Lakiichuk, head of security programs at the Center for Global Studies, said this on Espreso TV.
He noted that Turkey has coastlines on the Black and Mediterranean seas. In connection with the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine, it closed the Black Sea straits to foreign warships, and it has not kept its Navy ships there for 20 years.
“Turkish ships, given the modernization carried out by the Turks over the past 20 years, are ultra-modern. This is a German and American project. They are armed with "harpoons" - this is a modern weapon. It can destroy the outdated Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the waters of the Black Sea, cut off from other Russian fleets, in a few hours. And it's not even necessary to enter the Black Sea. The Turks can actually do it from the waters of the Mediterranean Sea,” Pavlo Lakiichuk emphasized.
