This was reported by Reuters.
On March 12, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the Russian army had fired on Sultan Suleiman's mosque, where more than 80 adults and children, including Turks, had taken refuge.
Cavusoglu said evacuation buses were waiting for them. He said that contact with people was lost.
"During my telephone conversation with Mr. Lavrov, I asked him to support the evacuation of our citizens from Mariupol," Cavusoglu said.
He added that Turkey had provided Russia with information about its citizens in the temporarily occupied territories.
"We have been sending our buses there for several days, but due to the ongoing clashes in the city, the buses cannot enter," he said.
