Tribute to Ukraine and its people - French President awards Zelenskyy with Legion of Honor

Macron announced this on Twitter.

"This is a tribute to Ukraine and its people. I honor you, dear Volodymyr, for your courage and dedication," the French president writes.

Macron also noted that Ukraine will never be alone as it fights for peace and carries the values of the European Union, and guaranteed that the country can rely on France.
