Emmanuel Macron awarded Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the Legion of Honor - the highest award in France conferred by the president for military or civilian merit

Macron announced this on Twitter.
"This is a tribute to Ukraine and its people. I honor you, dear Volodymyr, for your courage and dedication," the French president writes.
Macron also noted that Ukraine will never be alone as it fights for peace and carries the values of the European Union, and guaranteed that the country can rely on France.
