Transnistria is "interested" in peacekeepers, German society is "split" over Ukraine: latest fake news from Moscow
Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has identified Russia's latest fake news and disinformation attempts, including reports of a "split in German society" due to the "Ukrainian conflict" and Transnistria's "interest" in peacekeepers as a way of ending the conflict
The Center for Countering Disinformation reported this on Telegram.
As of the morning of July 29, propagandists were spreading three manipulations among the population.
Thus, the mass media of the Russian Federation, with reference to the private German Allensbach Institute, reported that "society in Germany has split in half due to the Ukrainian conflict... to hear the German position, it is enough to open comments on local websites where readers write: "what German interests is the government pursuing with these supplies?", "more arms from Germany = less gas for Germany".
The second manipulation was the statement of the co-chairman of the joint control commission Bilyakov: "despite the fact that the peacekeeping mission has been operating in the region for 30 years, Transnistria is interested in the presence of peacekeepers until the final resolution of the conflict."
Also, Russian propagandists said that: "clients of the British newspaper Mirror do not want to buy advertising space in newspapers next to materials about Ukraine, because many clients of the publishing house do not want advertising of their products to be located next to materials "about human suffering".
