Civil society during the war cannot celebrate weddings for millions. It has coffins in the morning, missiles at hospitals in the afternoon, and air raid alert in the evening. Weddings in time of war can be made modest. You can postpone the lavish royal celebration until the victory. And give the money to make that day happen sooner.
Civil society in times of war cannot make expensive purchases without giving at least half of the purchase price to support the army. First, victory, first, maximum for the army, and then luxury. If you don't, then get ready for the trench, the war will never end. There is no one to do it but us.
Civil society cannot send children to war. But right now, the 18-27 generation should not only eliminate alcohol (this is important, of course), but also prepare for war through mandatory weekend military courses for all absolutely young people without commas or punctuation marks, without distinguishing between whose son, whose grandson, whose daughter. This will not hurt the demographic situation in any way. But it will prepare the nation for resistance.
Civil society demands equal rules for all. In times of war, the sense of justice is intensified. This means, first of all, the responsibility of the authorities. Using the example of the army: a good commander personally demonstrates an example of behavior. Like the commander, like the unit. But when the commander is bad, a healthy bureaucratic infrastructure should deprive him of the right to influence the fate of people. I am writing this now about politicians and officials who have lost public trust. And also those who constantly discredit the title of representatives of the people/central authorities/local officials.
Civil society demands to fight corruption. Corruption in time of war is high treason. If at least one corrupt official is granted an indulgence because he or she is from the "one of our people," it is treason for all those who have remained silent and have not stood up to bring justice to the table. Remember this.
Civil society is fighting the war in the trenches. Civil society drives reforms. Civil society donates. Civil society does not give up. Because it wants to save its family, which means its home. It wants to save its home, which means its city. Your city, which means your country and nation.
The best time to turn the country towards justice is called "today".
These are simple points about survival and victory.
