Three steps to approach peace: Zelenskyy addresses G7 summit
At the G7 summit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that armaments, financial and energy stability, and diplomacy are necessary steps to speed up Ukraine's victory
This is stated on the Ukrainian president's Telegram channel.
The head of state emphasized that support for Ukraine should be continued and addressed the participants of the G7 summit. According to him, in addition to weapons, Ukraine needs financial, energy and social stability, as well as new diplomacy.
“The first step is a new force. Ukraine needs modern tanks, constant support with artillery, guns and shells. We need more rocket artillery and longer-range missiles. The more effective we are with such weapons, the shorter the Russian aggression will be.
The second one is a new resilience. We must maintain financial, energy and social stability next year as well. Should we not lose in these aspects, we will win in everything else.
And the third one is a new diplomacy. Ukraine has always been the leader of negotiation efforts and did everything to stop Russian aggression. And now we feel an opportunity to use diplomacy to bring the liberation of all our people and all our territories closer,” Zelenskyy said.
