This will be biggest Russian mistake: Klitschko on possible assault on Kyiv
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko is convinced that Russia's repeated attack on Kyiv will not happen, and the city is much better prepared for defense compared to last year
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko shared his opinion in a commentary for Ukrinform.
"A repeated Russian offensive on Kyiv will not take place. If it does happen, it will be Russians’ biggest mistake, because they will receive a serious and very painful rebuff. We are much more prepared now than last year: we have prepared many "gifts" and "surprises" for anyone who comes to our land with weapons. Those who want to march on Kyiv should understand that it will be extremely painful for them," Klitschko emphasized.
He also noted that all areas of life support are working in the Ukrainian capital despite the missile attacks.
"There is electricity, heat and water in Kyiv, even sporting events are taking place. All structures related to services are working. Every day, after each missile barrage, we prove that Kyiv is an unbreakable city," he emphasized.
