"They tried to join Kyiv's volunteer battalions": Ukraine's Security Service expels Russian criminals from Ukraine

In Kyiv, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) has detained two Russian criminals who were forcibly removed from Ukraine to prevent crimes

The press service of Ukraine's Security Service shared the details. 

According to the message, the SBU exposed criminal authorities from Russia who tried to join the volunteer battalions of Kyiv.

"One of the detainees turned out to be a citizen of Russia, who was on the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council as a criminal authority involved in the commission of serious crimes. In connection with this, he was banned from entering our country. Another perpetrator is a Russian recidivist, repeatedly sentenced to prison, including for murder. He was also in the territory of Ukraine illegally", the SBU wrote. 

According to the press service, currently these Russian criminals have been deported from Ukraine.

"Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine promptly exposed a potential threat and detained both perpetrators. In order to prevent crimes, the specified persons were forcibly expelled from Ukraine", it is noted. 

The enemy's subversive activity was prevented by the employees of the Main Directorate for Countering Systemic Threats to State Administration of the Security Service of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office.
