"Their height, gestures and earlobes betray them" - Budanov on Putin's doubles
The head of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, says that the Russian President Vladimir Putin has at least three lookalikes
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, Major General Kyrylo Budanov, said this in an interview with the Daily Mail.
Ukraine's military intelligence chief noted that in the past he had already identified doppelgangers of Russian President Putin, who replaced him at first only on ‘special occasions’, but now this became a common practice.
“We know of three people who keep appearing, but we don't know how many. They've all had plastic surgery to look alike. The only thing that gives them away is their height. It's visible in the video and photos. Also the gestiring, body language, as well as earlobes, as they are unique for each person,” Budanov noted.
Kremlin spokesman Peskov responded to this statement in Russian propaganda news agencies.
“How can we comment on that? What nonsense!” Peskov said.
It is reported that in 2020, Putin talked about the idea of creating doppelgangers back in the early 2000s, but he abandoned it.
