The President also noted that 1.5 million civilians are currently living in Kharkiv.
Zelensky also added that occupying Russian forces are directing constant attacks against Mykolayiv, which currently has half a million inhabitants. They also carry out regular shelling and want to capture Slovyansk, which before the war was home to 100,000 people.
