The historic five-story building of the former Kyiv Zemstvo Council on Reitarska Street in Kyiv is waiting for serious reconstruction. The project was undertaken by the NEST company, known for its original vision of residential and commercial real estate in the center of the capital

The authors of the idea are convinced that the historical monument will be able to look harmoniously next to modern buildings. The developer assures that there will be no high-rise layers on the monument of architecture. The building was and will remain a five-story building. Specialists will only restore and strengthen its facade, restore the roof, and modernize the front staircase.

According to the developer's plans, a modern boutique business center REITER HALL should appear in this location by 2025. Now the project has passed all the necessary instances related to compliance with the rules of cultural heritage protection - both in Ukraine and at the international level. There are permission documents from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Department of Cultural Heritage Protection of the Kyiv City State Administration.

In addition, the project has passed an international independent examination and is awaiting LEED certification. The head of the company, Emil Solovyov, informed the public of the capital: "We received a high score as a sign that we are not only preserving the historic building, but significantly improving its operational characteristics. For example, we continue the life cycle of bricks that have been standing since 1914 guaranteed for the next hundred years".

In order to implement such a large-scale project as REITER HALL in the historical part of the metropolis, the company had to carefully study the experience of European architectural institutions. First of all, those who have real experience in the restoration of historical monuments, taking into account a limited area.

After lengthy consultations, the company chose an architectural bureau from Sweden in combination with the vision of Ukrainian architect Andriy Pashenko. The project is designed to show the close interaction and synergy of the past and the future. The authors of the idea emphasize that they are determined to breathe new life into the historic building, returning it to its original appearance, strengthening it with the latest design solutions.

As the developer of the project, the NEST company plans to engage in the modern arrangement of the adjacent territory. In particular, the landscape design of the adjacent square, so that the location of REITER HALL would be of interest to both business and residents and guests of Kyiv.
