The Pentagon announced the details of new military assistance to Ukraine from the United States

This was announced after a press conference by Defense Ministry spokesman John Kirby.

In particular, the United States will provide Ukraine with:

•   72 155mm howitzers and 144,000 artillery rounds;

•   72 tactical vehicles for towing 155 mm howitzers;

•   over 121 Phoenix Ghost tactical unmanned aerial vehicles;

•   field equipment and spare parts.

The United States has now provided more than $4 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the Biden administration took office, including approximately $3.4 billion from the start of Russia's February 24 invasion.

The United States also continues to work with its allies and partners to identify and provide additional opportunities for Ukraine.
