The invaders probably kidnapped the mayor of Melitopol - the President's Office
There is information about the abduction of Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov by the Russian invaders. The information is currently being checked.
This was announced by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko, reports Espresso.TV.
"According to preliminary information, an hour ago the invaders abducted the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov," Tymoshenko wrote.
He later published a video, which, according to him, confirms the abduction of the mayor of Melitopol by the Russian military.
Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko also reported on the abduction of the mayor. According to him, a group of 10 people kidnapped Fedorov, who refused to cooperate with them. They allegedly put a plastic bag on his head during the abduction.
"The invaders detained him in the city crisis center, where he was working on the main problems of the city. There was a Ukrainian flag in the Ivan Fedorov’s office," - wrote Gerashchenko.
We remind that on March 10 in Melitopol the Russian Federation military kidnapped the deputy of the Zaporizhzhia regional council and the director of the local lore museum Leyla Ibragimova
