The genocide of the Ukrainian people became a verdict for all Russians - Garan

To be sure, Russians are committing war crimes in Ukraine. Genocide means purposeful actions to destroy a category of people on a certain basis. The situation in Bucha, I think, can be called a genocide of the Ukrainian people. I want to emphasize that these Russian atrocities that we see are not accidental. Russia has been preparing Russians for many years for the genocide of the Ukrainian people. They said that Ukraine is not a country, and there are no such people as Ukrainians", Garan explained.

Garan added that the article by the Kremlin media Ria Novosti purposefully calls for the de-Ukrainization of Ukraine and repressions against Ukrainians.

"The Putin regime has waged a hatred campaign against Ukrainians for many years. Therefore, Russia, both the state and the executors, is responsible for this. The perpetrators are not only Putin, but also the Russian army and Russians. I think what happened in Bucha, and that happened before in many other occupied settlements, allows Ukraine to call the world to morality and justice", added Garan
