The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces names Russia’s priority targets in the next stage of the war
The enemy is concentrating on air and missile strikes, destroying infrastructure and logistics centers and cutting Ukraine off from the seas
Squadron General Oleksiy Hromov, who’s also the Deputy Chief of the General Staff's Main Operational Directorate, outlined the priorities in Ukraine's Ministry of Defense Telegram channel.
According to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, the following goals will soon be a priority for Russia:
- increasing the intensity of air and missile strikes on civilian and military facilities all over Ukraine;
-
continuing total destruction of critical infrastructure points and civilians;
-
surround and destroy the Allied Forces, and creating a stable land corridor from the Rostov region to Crimea, then to Transnistria. And as a result - depriving Ukraine of the access to the Black and Azov seas;
-
identification of the logistic routes, destruction of warehouses with equipment and ammunition and disruption of the Western partners’ supply of equipment.
Despite these goals, military experts note that Russia has no technical potential for massive missile attacks on Ukraine. The same goes for aviation: Russia hoped for dominance in the air, yet now they’re afraid to fly.
