This was reported to CNN on February 10 by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
"It’s for this same reason that we turned down similar request from Denmark and Germany last year," SECO spokesman Fabian Maienfisch told reporters.
Switzerland has a strict federal law that regulates the re-export of Swiss-made weapons and other military materials.
The Swiss Parliament is considering a bill submitted on February 3 to ease this restriction.
In January, Switzerland joined the ninth package of EU sanctions against Russia.
Earlier it was reported that Switzerland may revise its legislation on arms re-export.
