Sweden can transfer tanks that are analogues of Leopard to Ukraine

Svenska Dagbladet writes about this with reference to the comment of Swedish Minister of Defense Pål Jonson.

"Preparations for transfer of tanks from Sweden are currently not underway, but it is possible that this may happen later," the minister said in a written comment to the newspaper.

There are about 120 Stridsvag 122 in service in Sweden.

• On January 19, the Swedish government approved the transfer of the Archer artillery system to Ukraine, as well as 50 Type 90 infantry fighting vehicles.

• And on January 24, it was reported that the Swedish government allowed state company Svenska kraftnät ("Swedish Electricity Networks") to transfer to Ukraine equipment needed to restore the energy system after Russian shelling.
