Surviving airstrikes, 500-kilogram bombs: Lutsk volunteers show reality of life in destroyed Chernihiv

Lutsk volunteers from the civil movement Svydomi have delivered aid to people in Chernihiv who now find themselves in difficult conditions due to the war.

This was announced by Taras Shkiter, the head of the SVIDOMI Civic Movement faction in the Lutsk City Council, Espreso. Zahid reports.

"People have survived airstrikes, the dropping of 500-kilogram bombs, shootings with banned cluster shells and now live in basements and apartments unfit for life. Watching it on the news and seeing it with your own eyes are completely different things. Mentioned above is about the people of Chernihiv who live in the very center of the city with a 1,300-year history. The war took away their homes, relatives, and neighbors, but it did not break their willpower and lust for life," the message reads.

It is known that volunteers brought "family sets" from Lutsk for Chernihiv residents to support and help them.
