"Surrender the city or it will be the same as with Mariupol". Mayor of Mykolaiv told about threats from Russian invaders

Russian invaders send ultimatum demands to the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, to "surrender" the city

The mayor stated this in an interview with CrimeaReality released today on April 23, informs Espreso.TV.

"Surrender the city or it will be the same as with Mariupol", Senkevych cited the messages he received.

According to the mayor, such ultimatums started "constantly" coming to him and his deputies.

"It is clear that no one is going to surrender the city", Oleksandr Senkevych emphasized.

At the same time, Senkevych added that the Russians do not stop shelling Mykolaiv. As he noted, the invaders are firing from the temporarily uncontrolled Kherson region.

"They are hitting here from the Kherson region. The flight time of the missile was recorded by us on average 3 minutes… They arrive in three minutes from the Kherson region. Then, within 20 seconds, cluster shells fall all around", the mayor of Mylolaiv explained.
