Pierre Richard says he is horrified by massacres of Ukrainians by Russia

French actor Pierre Richard recorded a video message in which he expressed his admiration for the way Ukrainians are overcoming the hardships caused by Russia's military aggression

The video was published by the Ukrainian government-run United24 platform.

Pierre Richard, an 89-year-old French actor and director who has supported Ukraine from the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion, has recorded a new video for Ukrainians. He shared that he was shocked by Russia's crimes against Ukraine.

"Two years have passed, and so many people have died, so many massacres, so many cities have been razed to the ground. I am shocked by what I see. I’m horrified by what I see. So I reiterate my admiration for the heroic Ukrainian resistance, and how they endure their hardships," the actor said.

Pierre Richard noted that he would stay with Ukraine.

"My friends and I think about Ukrainian people a lot. I hope that one day, perhaps soon, I will have the opportunity to come and greet them personally," the actor added.
