Substation blown up near Melitopol – mayor Fedorov

An explosion has been heard in the temporarily Russian-occupied Fedorivka, Melitopol district, Zaporizhzhia region, as a substation has been blown up

Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported this.

“Something is burning for the Russians near Melitopol,” the mayor wrote.

According to preliminary information, a substation was blown up near the village of Fedorivka, Terpynivka village council.

As of 4:00 pm, there is no electricity in the settlement.

Also at this hour, Melitopol heard the sounds of explosions from the Molochnyi Estuary.

The mayor says that Fedorivka is the hub of the railway station through which the occupying Russian forces transport heavy weapons to the front.

“No electricity means no transfer of enemy property. So the invading forces' logistics have failed once again,” added Fedorov.

On March 2, the invading Russian troops, who failed to capture the Zaporizhzhia region but declared occupation, decided that they would temporarily occupy Melitopol as the center of the region.
