Stocks of diesel fuel were replenished for emergency power supply of a part of Chornobyl NPP - the state inspection

All Chornobyl facilities in the Exclusion Zone continue to be under Russian military control. The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate announced on Facebook.

It noted that regulatory control over the state of nuclear and radiation safety at the NPP site and in the exclusion zone and nuclear materials at the enterprise is impossible.

"The work of the Automated Radiation Control System of the Exclusion Zone has not been resumed yet. The real situation on the site is currently unknown," the statement said.

According to the management of the NPP, which is currently located in Slavutych, the NPP site was provided with an additional supply of diesel fuel for diesel power plants, which provide emergency power supply for spent nuclear fuel storage facilities, as well as new safe confinement.

"Attempts are being made to restore the site's external power supply," the inspectorate said.
