Status quo change by force is unacceptable - Japan condemns Russia's armed aggression in Ukraine
Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa said that changing the status quo by force, as is the case with Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, is unacceptable
Hayashi Yoshimasa said this during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Ukrinform reports.
"Everything that is happening in Ukraine could have happened anywhere in the world. And our firm position is that, wherever it happens in the world, changing the status quo by force, as we see in the case of Russian aggression against Ukraine, will never be accepted, and this cannot be tolerated," the Japanese Foreign Minister said.
In particular, Hayashi Yoshimasa emphasized the unacceptability of threats to use nuclear weapons.
