State Border Guard Service fortify Ukrainian border with Belarus and occupied Transnistria
On the border with occupied Transnistria (Moldova), Ukrainian defenders have strengthened security measures and are building fortifications
Ukrainian State Border Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko announced this on February 28.
"On the border with Moldova there is Transnistria, and since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the defense forces have been strengthening this direction... We have increased control and started the fortification construction," he said.
"The enemy is treacherous, so we understand that provocations may happen at any moment. We must be ready for anything," Demchenko added.
As for Belarus, 2 km line of the border will be mined.
"The number of mines depends on the landscape and the possible danger in the direction," Demchenko clarified.

Earlier, OC South said that the landing of Russian troops in occupied Transnistria is impossible since it requires crossing the airspace of NATO countries.
